
We usually start our work on a new project from a thorough research of
our clients' needs: the target audience, existing competition and the
goals our clients would like to accomplish. We work with them every step
of the way to define measurable goals and objectives of the Web site we
are about to design for them. During this first state, the Web site functionality
and content requirements are precisely defined. Based on this preliminary
analysis, we prepare a detailed contract with our conclusions and recommendations.
During the design phase, we work to define the scope of work, as well
as information architecture and user experience. Proposed site map and
initial designs are presented to the client in form of mood boards showing
different visual concepts. Based on client's input, we finalize the look
and feel of the site.
The Web site is build based on specifications developed in stage 2 in
accordance with the delivery schedule defined in the contract. The visual
layouts are converted into live pages - HTML code and optimized images
are created. During this stage, the back-end functionality is also implemented
in form of searchable databases, online storefronts, catalogs etc.
We work with our client to prepare a comprehensive Web marketing plan
which includes optimization of meta tags for optimal search engine exposure,
as well as registration of the Web site with major search engines and
directories. Furthermore, we provide advice as to how to successfully
advertise the Web site through paid advertisements and affiliate programs.
